Many digital nomads and freelance workers who come to the island of Bali are looking for cheap Bali rooms and affordable accommodation. Like many places long term accommodation is easy to find and secure but that’s not always the case with short term e.g. under one month.
Greetings from the Island of the Gods! I am back in Bali again – yes that’s twice in a year. I was here earlier in February and I find myself back under the southern cross.
Exotic can mean a lot of different things, but for travelers it also tends to mean expensive. Whether you’re making your way to a remote spot for a vacation or enjoying more of a resort setting at an established tourist hot spot, it can be easy to wind up spending more than you mean to. And most digital nomads, despite being focused on longer stays and often frugal lifestyles, will typically encounter the issue of overspending at one point or another.
It was 2006 when I published my first ever Youtube video (see below). Back then Youtube wasn’t so popular and the standard of videos not so good (particularly the one below!).
Well it’s been a long while since I did a personal update on the site so this post is probably long overdue! The Working Nomad site itself is coming up to it’s 13 birthday, the same time as I have been living and working independently!
Having a family protection endorsement
You need to know that safety comes first. Especially if you are traveling with your family over the border. Even if it may sounds I little bit exaggerated you cannot know what may happen so having a family protection endorsement would make things easier and safer for you and your family members. Yes, if you rely on a car insurance like the one offered by The aa you will be covered besides your car (and this would be valid for other cars you drive too) but what about your family? Add the services to your policy and everything will be safer and convenient too.
