Dreamweaver XHTML Template

As promised here is the template and associate CSS (stylesheet) file that you are welcome to use in Dreamweaver to create a website.

This template has proved to be quite effective for search engine optimisation and you are welcome to use it but please include a link back to Working Nomad ;o)

It is XHTML and uses CSS to position areas of the page. By doing this it is possible to put the main content near the top of the of the HTML code which is very useful in search engines. The position of these blocks are controlled by the CSS file.

In the root directory of your website you will need to create a folder called Templates.

Copy this DWT file into the Templates folder.e.g website/Templates/

Now copy this CSS file into the root directory e.g. website/

Copy the example HTML file into the root directory e.g. website/

If you have any questions please go to the Working Nomad forum and post under technical rather than emailing me direct.

Good luck!
