Working while backpacking

I plan to only work part time while I am travelling. Because you are your own boss there is no reason why you can't work all night, 1 hour every day or take a month off and work for a week afterwards! The choice is yours.

In order to maintain your web sites you will need a laptop and access to Internet cafes in order to upload new content. You do not need to have a laptop with a web connection - that is what Internet cafes are for!

This is how I plan to work and earn money while travelling around the World

1. I have all my web sites on my laptop and can edit them, update them whenever. One issue that might arise is access to electricity points. I will be taking a few spare batteries which will allow me to work on Islands where there is limited electricity.

2. Once I have made changes I will use my USB memory stick to transfer the updates from my laptop to the internet cafe PC then upload to the Internet.

3. I will also be able to work while I am in Internet cafes but it will be much cheaper to do the work on my laptop.

4. Any other work can be done in the Internet Cafe. For instance check email, check web stats , check forums for new ideas and also check earnings ;o)

I will also maintain this blog while I am in Internet cafes.
