It has been my worst month since June! Just like last October this one saw a dip in earnings. I came in roughly around GBP 1950 or USD 3750 this month.
On the bright side this is five times more than I earnt in the corresponding period last year so at least I am still moving in the right direction. It also demonstrates how high my expectations are.
Perhaps this is a bit of a wake up call for me now as I have been seriously lazy for a while now. It is actually quite motivating to take a hit like this.
I have now arrived in Singapore and will be here with a friend from London for a few days. It is my birthday on Monday and I will be flying to Thailand on that day.
I have already spotted my birthday present to myself this morning while walking through a shopping mall. It is a t-shirt with the words ‘Geeks rule’.
That sums me up nicely

Yea not complaining really - it’s just a fall of nearly £1000 is hard to take.
Lets hope it is seasonal. On webmasterworld lots of webmasters have been complaining about how poor October was so I guess I have company.
And you know misery loves company!

Holiday periods are always difficult, unless of course you have a halloween site for example. I think thanks giving then Christmas are difficult unless you have a gift site.
January this year was my best month ever with adsense.

i’m sure it’ll pick up again.
and i’d say that a geek would be someone who given plenty of cash, would still sit infront of their computer all day.
you’re working to live, not living to work, so you ain’t a geek!

That just gave a nice idea for a website. Nothing like turning a problem into a profitable venture (hopefully)
