The Working Nomad channel is now live on Youtube with my first (somewhat dull) video of me showing what I have to pack for my trip.

If anyone is a Youtube expert can someone tell me how they select the shot from your video to show as the image? Any help appreciated as I cannot work it out!
Just doing my final packing now and booking onward flights and organising trips. It’s all go at the moment!

Hey mate, nice video. Bit dry but I’m sure your coming vids from more interesting settings than your mum’s spare room will encourage me to keep watching!
Safe travels!

More entertainment will be more entertaining.

Traveling pretty light there, Webby. It’s the only way. I also use the exact brand of Memory Stick - DataTraveler. Great minds think alike - we all know that
I don’t recall seeing a camera though - what’s up with that?

I shot the video with my camera so I could nt show it, if you know what I mean :}

Nice Tevas and great tip about the extension lead, looking forward to more vids.

I don’t remember seeing clothes. You are planning to wear clothes, right, or should we look forward to much more interesting videos?

ummm, i’m not much of a “traveller” (or haven’t been up til now) - i tend to have gone to good hostels or medium quality hotels, so i’d be interested to find out more about things like the stove - looked a neat little thing. something i’ll need to think about if i go for a proper long trip away.
nice vid, i’m sure as you get used to the camera there’ll be less “ummms and aaahhhs”!

lol - yea I am not a polished performer in front (or behind) a camera but practice will make perfect I hope!
The stove is for New Zealand if I plan to do some overnight hiking - I could buy another one out there but rather use what I have.
There was a pile a clothes in there somewhere - maybe I could travel wearing very little but I don’t think the Indonesian immigration officials will see the funny side

YouTube grabs the frame that in the exact middle of your video… Too bad you can’t choose it, huh?

Apparently it’s the frame from the middle of your video… hope that helps…
