This month was set to be a record for my Internet earnings but the last three days have been a big disappointment. Traditionally Tuesday and Wednesday are my strongest days for web earnings so I am a little surprised about this!
One thing you must shy away from is panicking if things like this happen. You should always look at the bigger picture. I will still be near my £1500 for this month which is acceptable.
I am back in KL for a few days before heading back to Bali for my final few weeks. I am beginning to formulate some plans for the summer in Europe now. I will be going back to Ipswich (thanks Mum!) initially and then we will see from there.
If you have been following the Forum you will have seen the thread about a possible trip around Europe. I am looking at getting some company sponsorship for this trip and this will be my focus over the next few weeks.
There is no going back to some dull office in London for me. That chapter of my life has finished. This way of working has left me very excited about the future.
I am off now to buy my ticket home.

I would be interested to know if you were able to increase your income since you have been on the road.
Also, if you have any tips for increasing Adsense earnings. All of my other streams are rising ie. link sales and affiliate programs. I keep building sites, adding content, getting links and so on but my adsense is very flat.
Any tips?

Hi Mike, how many websites do you actually run?
The reason why I ask is that I limped along with two web sites for a wee while and it was n’t until I expanded to more (5 as it reads in my e-book) that things started to turn.

I guess it depends how you actually define a “website”, but I just counted and have over 25. Some are just one page sites and some are fairly large directories. Some blogs, a job board and a realestate classified site. A little crazy I guess, but I am going with the theory of putting up a lot of sites and then seeing which perform best and then working on those. I think I just need to be more patient, I am sure I will see some good results by next year.

If a lot of your business comes from the US, remember that this Monday is a holiday. In addition to that day, people tend to maximize their meager American vacation time by taking time off for the week before or after a long weekend.
It’s hard to keep track of what day it is on the road, or even what month, so I can imagine that keeping up with foreign holidays is impossible.

For encouragement, click on ‘Earnings and Budget’ on the right side of the home page. Go to the bottom and read up, so you get the posts in chronological order. Yes, his earnings increased.

I think that is quite a smart move. You can whack a site out in a day if you work hard and smart and then see how it performs. You have only lost the cost of a domain registration which is very cheap these days…
