The surf has been pretty flat in Bali but it is blue skies all the way now. I have been hanging out on the beach playing chess with my buddies from Sumatra.
Whenever I play it is me against 10 of them! They think it is perfectly acceptable to help each other when we play. I told them that I only want to play one at a time but soon as they spot something (like a dangerous move) they all go mad! The boys can’t help themselves.
The e-book selling is going quite well at the moment so thanks to everyone who has purchased it. I was thinking the other day it was over-priced. I mean you would n’t pay £9 for a normal book?
Then I remembered the effort I put in to it so I have decided to keep it at £9. Please let me know if you were one of the original people who emailed for it for free. I have all the emails still so I will know if you were one of them

Fair comment about the £9 for the book. I’m not saying you haven’t put a lot of work into it, but many books wouldn’t cost that much.
In saying that my curiosity did get the better of me and I ordered one as I happened to have money in my PayPal account, and quit my work on 26th May to go long term travelling…after years of trying to get rid of the excuses that stop me. I’ll comment on the poker and the laptop threads soon (just ordered a new one to replace the heavier laptop I have).
Enjoy!

Mind you, it’s cheaper than this one :

Anyone read it?
I’m always dubious, intrigued to see what’s in yours.

Kirsty, you have a very nice looking site. I am sure I will be back soon.

Hi Kirsty, have n’t heard from you for a while. How’s it going now? Are your sites on the up in terms of income?
You have done a really good job with your adsense ads and the way they blend in. Nice one.

Hey,
Well I got back from Turkey in April and was a homeless person for a few weeks but just found and am getting set up. Getting a computer delivered tomorrow and Broadband soon to follow so I’ll actually have internet at home for the first time in about 5 years.
My earnings and traffic are rising ridiculously slowly but that’s because I’ve put pretty much zero effort in over the past year. I’ve got lots of ideas and three other sites that are nearly done that I think have huge potential so I’m excited to get cracking! Plus I’ve got a lot of work to do on the Travoholic.com sites and loads of room to improve.
I’ll keep ya posted. Thanks for the comments!

I wonder if the price will hurt you in the US. Books in the US sell for about half of what they cost in the UK. A new paperback with a list price of about 8 pounds (can’t find the symbol) in the UK is 8 dollars in the US. So almost $18 for a 30 page book sounds like too much to me. I certainly would not have been able to afford it.

It is difficult to compare the price of what you would pay for in a niche ebook versus a paperback novel. Take a look at “butterfly marketing” which sells for over $1000! Or those Adsense Videos for $97.

Good point. Hmmmm. Wonder what I can write…

£9 is a fair price simply because this isn’t something you can find at a bookstore.
Anthony, check your mail.
Here’s my attempt at a travel blog service…
